“There’s not much that I would share that hasn’t been said before (e.g. by the other beautiful participants of this project). But I’d be remiss if I didn’t express that it’s like I woke up from a long dreamless sleep, remembering how to dream again. I was unknowingly holding onto this burden and through introspection and self-love, I managed to lighten that load. However, I don’t think there’s anyone to blame for the road that my life has taken, instead I believe this was a necessary path to get to my truest self.
Now I am just me, a little more masculine at times, a little more feminine at others, but always a woman, always Cassy.”
